Transfer rate is 32MB per second, and cartridge holds up to 384 tracks. LTO-1 media is read/write compatible with LTO-1 and LTO-2 drives and is read compatible with LTO-3 drives. Data cartridge offers a 30-year archival storage life and 1,000,000 passes on any area of tape, which equates to more than 20,000 end-to-end passes or 260 full tape backups.
