The Juniper Networks Enhanced IQ2 (or IQ2-E) PIC family is our latest generation of Ethernet- optimized PICs for M Series and T Series routers. PB-8GE-TYPE2-SFP-IQ2E Gigabit Ethernet PIC Module is the newest generation of our Ethernet Services Engine (ESE), capable of handling advanced hierarchical quality of service (QoS), fine-grained queuing with enhanced scaling. Key applications include service aggregation for the multiplay needs of business and residential users, MPLS services at Layers 2 and 3, and the convergence of legacy transport such as Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) and Frame Relay over Ethernet. This PIC is also ideal for data center applications, connecting broadband applications to the multiservice edge, or linking aggregation nodes to core routers or the Internet.
